What a Weekend!

Last weekend on the Internet Campus was amazing! We had the first ever family dedication online...the Mendoza family! They all came into the studio and Pastor Arturo dedicated their family and the raising of their child to God. Quite a first! Photos are viewable at www.flickr.com/photos/frcinternet

Right after the family dedication, 4 members of the family went out into our courtyard in Cooper City to be baptized! What an amazing night!

In addition, in our chat room, Paula accepted Christ for the very first time! She is coming down soon from New York to be baptized at our Cooper City campus! Congratulations Paula!

God is doing amazing things online! You won't want to miss this weekend as we continue our series "More Than a Game"

Tomorrow's Devotional

Greetings internet campus!

Thanks again for checking in. I will be posting to this blog daily and think it will be a great place for all of us to connect and grow in Christ together. Just a couple quick things in my brain this morning:

1. Daily devotions will be on Monday-Friday. I hope to post them in the early morning (read that as midnight or 1:00AM the previous day) so that when you wake up in the morning it is there waiting for you. Think of it as the morning paper with good news!
   
2. I sometimes forget that many of you are logging in from other parts of the world. I am in S. Florida, USA so the times I use will be Eastern Standard Time.
   
3. I will be going live for the first time on Oct. 20-21 Weekend. During that live time...I will be letting you in on one of our new creative items that we are adding to the site. Again, it's all about connection and growing together.
   
4. Be sure to visit the naked pastor himself, Troy Gramling, on the MyNakedPastor.com website! Post comments to him on his blog...www.troygramling.com. Also, be sure to login tonight to mynakedpastor.com for the Naked Couch @ 8:00PM!

Welcome!

Greetings FRC Internet Campus!

I am thrilled to welcome you all to our new Internet Campus blog! I am your Internet Campus Pastor, Brian Vasil. I have been a pastor at Flamingo Road Church for 8 years in the Media ministry and television production. When the call came to step up as internet campus pastor...I was thrilled. I truly feel like God has tapped me for this and am looking forward to "meeting" each of you through the various means on the frclive.tv website.

While I can't let out all of the changes being worked on behind the scenes, I can tell you that we are excited to launch new and exciting ways to connect. Starting in the next couple of weeks, I will be welcoming you live from our Cooper City Campus. Then, when Pastor Troy is finished with the fantastic teaching...I will be there live once again to close the service.

In the near future, we are going to be adding ways for you to:

1. Start small groups in your town (with materials we provide on the site)
2. Connect with each other via a unique ways of chatting
3. Attend midweek Bible Study and learn together as a global community
4. Be a part of special events at the church that we will cover via video for you to take part in. (examples:beach baptism, end-of-teaching calls forward, etc.)

I am so excited to see what God is going to do with the internet campus. It is my hope that you find this blog a great place to get inspired, connect, and recharge each and every day.
Look for our first devotional starting Wednesday, October 10th and then each morning thereafter.

Let's connect together as we try to reach our God potential worldwide.
