Friday Prayers

Today let's pray for those on our Internet Campus that need it. Do you realize that we have received hundreds of prayer requests (and praises) in the one year that we have been a campus?

Each of those people have a need...and a heart...and count on us to pray for them.

Maybe you have submitted a prayer request in the past. Did you know that there are literally hundreds of people from around the world praying for you?

This morning, let's add our number to those already praying...lift up those that are hurting. Pray for those that have no hope. Lift up those that are counting on God to come through in a big way.

They need you to pray. Will you join me this morning?

Friday - Prayer Day

This morning as you spend your quiet time with God, let's lift up those that are seeking refuge. Pray for people who have been going through what seems to be a non-stop barrage of challenges...those that have been crying out for God's protection...those that are seeking the umbrella of God's love in the storm...

They have been praying and praying...and the challenges keep coming. They need to be reminded that God is in control....that God is all-powerful...that God will protect His children...

Pray for them... I am praying for you.

Thanks so much to everyone who prayed for Pastor Troy's mom this week. She came through surgery for her brain aneurism very well. She is still in intensive care and doctors are still searching for the cause of the bleeding in the back of her brain.

Last week, representatives from five continents were praying at one time on Tuesday for Pastor Troy's mom...isn't your Internet Campus amazing?

Good morning internet campus!

We continue our quest to find God's will for our lives with today's verse...

1 Thessalonians 16-18 "Be cheerful no matter what; pray all the time; thank God no matter what happens. This is the way God wants you who belong to Christ Jesus to live."

I found myself the other day talking with a woman who was grieving. She was pouring her heart out to me, stopped, and looked up into my eyes. She was searching for answers. She wanted to know what I could do to help her heal. You know what I found myself thinking....

All I can do is pray.

Is prayer enough? Is there ever something that I shouldn't bother God with? Read on from Biblehelp.org...

Step 2: Pray and continually seek God’s wisdom and guidance in everything you do.

It has been said, "A Christian is no greater than his prayer life." We should continually pray and ask God to bless and energize each area of our ministry. We must commit all rights and control to God with every issue we encounter. Besides asking God for His power, we should continually ask God to give us wisdom and guidance in everything we do.

Many people make the mistake of thinking since God already knows my needs, He will automatically meet them. As I mentioned in earlier chapters, this couldn’t be further from the truth. God wants you to continually come to Him and be specific about all your needs.

I try to make it a point at the beginning of each day to ask God to provide me with wisdom and guidance for everything I will encounter throughout the day. During the day, when I am faced with a new issue or concern, I ask God for wisdom and direction. Although I don’t seek God’s wisdom for everything I do, such as, "What gas pump should I use?" I try to cultivate my heart so it will be open to His leading even on small "insignificant" things.


When I was talking with that hurting woman it wasn't an issue of "All I can do is pray..." it was actually..."The strongest thing I can do is pray." Never forget that. If you are truly seeking what God's will is for your life... commit to strengthening your prayer life. He will answer.
